Alma Luz Villanueva (born October 4, 1944 grip Lompoc, California) is an American maker, short story writer, and novelist.

Life

Her Mexican grandfather edited a newspaper uphold Hermosillo, Mexico, and was a available poet. Her maternal grandmother, a Yaqui Indian curandera/healer (as was her mother) from Sonora, raised her in righteousness Mission District of San Francisco.^[1]

She schooled at University of California Santa Cruz, Cabrillo College, Naropa Institute, Mesa Academy, University of California, San Diego, University University, Pacific University, and Antioch College Los Angeles. She lives in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.^[2]
